The team from Brick & Barrel is excited to announce their newest concept – Duke’s Tacos & Margs. Located just steps from the popular gastro pub, Duke’s is set to open this January in the heart of Downtown Abacoa in Jupiter. Owner and Director of Operations David Schroeder has assembled a hospitality who’s to run the casual taco and margarita concept with Director of Culinary Operations - Thomas Op’t Holt overseeing the kitchen while General Manager Ryan Dabold and Director of Beverage Peabo Powell craft the front of the house. Op’t Holt’s menu will feature creative plays on Floribbean Street Tacos and his “fish on acid” – a modern take on locally sourced ceviches. In addition to sourcing ingredients locally, Op’t Holt will be using the Nixtamal process and grinding the corn in house to create the freshest masa in town. On the bar side, Powell’s cocktail menu will bring his extensive cocktail knowledge and mixologist’s touch to the classic margarita and Dabold’s Tequila and Mezcal menu will boast over 100 different spirits. The 150 seat restaurant will offer spacious seating options including the outdoor patio – the perfect spot to enjoy the local scene while sipping one of Duke’s signature cocktails or frozen specialties.
